Next Level Projects is an exciting art photography publishing company that showcase a variety of international contemporary artists. Our quest is to celebrate the excellence and diversity of contemporary art photography. In so doing, place guidance to the role of artists and writers, as a consequence, extending their skills and creativity by supporting activities that assist in their development and engage new audiences.
Next Level Projects’ main publication, Next Level is an art magazine dedicated to showcasing photographic art, creativity and culture, the essential source for cutting-edge contemporary photographic art. This has developed into a uniquely important national and international art resource. The primary aim is to bring awareness and debate to contemporary issues and culture, showcasing and celebrating emerging and established artists, across various disciplines and alongside inspiring provocative and critical writing.
Next Level magazine, co-founded by Sheyi Antony Bankale was launched in March 2002 at the Institute of Contemporary Art, London. Each edition of Next Level is published quarterly; March, June, September and December; an underlined theme is explored by the contributors in collaboration with Next Level to produce a personal interpretation.
In addition to the magazine, Next Level Projects creates a range of Next Level books distributed by Thames and Hudson, one of the leading lights in the international art book publishing market. This collaboration couples two ‘mind’ sets that have a thirst for contemporary art photography and space for infinite creative possibilities.
